 ====== About Me ====== ====== About Me ======

-As you guessed, my name is Steve Cross, known online as hairlesshobo. I am a single father of one son, Jason, who is 2 years old (as of Aug 2014). On top of that, I work for ADP as an Technical Application Analyst, working tier 2 support for one of our applicationsOn top of these things, I am also an open source programmer, hardware engineer, car enthusiast, musician, recording engineer, and just about anything else that I can get my hands on. I have been working with computers for most of my life, and cars for even longer. I started working with computers when was nine years oldand motors when I was six years old. I really enjoy programming and have worked extensively with the following technologies and languages (some have most likely been left out): WindowsLinux, Max OS X, BSD, Android, C, C++, C#, Java, XHTML, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Perl, PHP, Python, MSSQL, MySQL, SQLite, MongoDB, Bash, PowerShell, and miscellaneous othersAt the moment I am focused on building projects using interactive front ends using jQueryI have also found that I am a huge fan of Node.JS and really enjoy developing applications on this platform.+My name is Steve. I am a married father of four. On top of that, I work for ADP as a Site Reliability Engineer, working as an internal software developerNeedless to say, I don'have a ton of free timeSo what did do? decided to bring back my old wiki and start contributing to it again! Causeyou know.. lots of spare time ;).

-In late 2013, my son and I moved into our own home that I am able to do whatever I want to. After many years of planning and dreamingI am now finally able to build my home automation project that I've wanted for so many years. This includes entertainmentlightingsecurity, climate (inside and out), and whatever else I can tack on thereThis is how the [[CrossHomeAutomation]] project was born. For years I've used EventGhost as a framework for controlling my entertainmentNow that am expanding on this for climate, lighting, and many other things, I have outgrown the capabilities of EventGhost and have been working on my owncustom built framework.+I am also an open source programmer, ham radio operator, 3d printer, photographer and astrophotographerhardware engineermusicianrecording engineer, and just about anything else that I can get my hands on. I have been working with computers for most of my life. I started working with computers when I was seven years old. I have worked with the following technologies and languages to varying degrees over the years (some have most likely been left out): WindowsLinux, Max OS X, BSD, Android, C, C++, C#, Java, XHTML, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Perl, PHP, Python, PostgresQL, MSSQL, MySQL, SQLite, MongoDB, Bash, PowerShell, and miscellaneous others. My platform of choice these days is .NET Core. Professionally, I have developed an entire MSA platform with it. Personally, I have written quite a few utilities with it for all sorts of different projects.
